In Srimad Ramayana, the Sage Valmiki tried to
project one Female and two Male exemplary characters. The Female character is Seetha and regarding
Male characters - one is undoubtedly Sri Rama and the other one is Sri Hanuma.
Both are valiant, sticklers to Dharma, fearless, knowledgeable, wise, had
immense strength, had incisive brain, well versed in Sastras and Vedas and yet
humble.
Sage Valmiki described Sri Hanuma in Kishkinda Kanda. According to Srimad Ramayana, Sri
Hanuma is bestowed with the following further capabilities/boons.
1. No Astra can do harm to him. Even Brahma Astra can keep him motionless for
a few moments only
2. Lord Indra gave him a boon that Death will
touch him at his wish only
3. His speed is equal to Garuda himself.
4. He had attained SIDDHIS
