Sri Rama on War expedition

On learning the details of Lanka from Sri Hanuma, Sri Rama spoke as follows:

अस्मिन् मुहूर्ते सुग्रीव प्रयाणम् अभिरोचये |
युक्तो मुहूर्तो विजयः प्राप्तो मध्यम् दिवा करः ||  (Yuddha Kanda 4 Sarga 3 Sloka)

"I shall destroy Lanka.  Be pleased to approve our march at this moment, a suitable moment for success. The sun reached the mid-day.”

उत्तरा फल्गुनी हि अद्य श्वस् तु हस्तेन योक्ष्यते ||
 अभिप्रयाम सुग्रीव सर्व अनीक समावृताः |   (Yuddha Kanda 4 Sarga 5 Sloka)

"This Uttara Phalguni will be in conjunction with the Hasta star tomorrow. Hence, let us depart today itself with all the troops accompanying us, Oh, Sugreeva!"

“Oh, Sugreeva! By seeing the omens which are becoming visible, I deduce that I shall bring back Seetha, by killing Ravana. My right eye, which is twitching on the upper lid,  is proclaiming as it were, my desire of victory coming nearer."

Then Sri Rama explains his marching plan.  He explained who to lead the Vanara army, who to guard from rear side, who to make clear the way enroute to ocean, who to make arrangements for food, etc. Then he said that  Lakshmana and himself will mount  Angada and Sri Hanuma respectively during the march.

Hearing the words of Sri Rama, Sugreeva gave orders to the Vanara-s  accordingly. Then, all those troops of Vanara-s  rose up and quickly bounced from caves and mountain-tops. Thereafter Sri Rama moved towards southern direction, along with the army.

All those Vanara-s maintained by Sugreeva were rejoicing with delight and shouting war cries.

Sri Rama born on the day when the star PURNARVASU was reigning.  According to Astrology, Uttara Phalguni star is SADHANA TAARA (favourable for accomplishment) to Punarvasu star.

I think, as per the above depiction, people in Ramayana period used to depend on TAARA BALAM only but not on the other parts of PANCHAANGA,i.e., Thidhi, Vaara, Nakshatra,Yoga and Karana.

No where in Ramayana VAARA (week, viz., Sunday, Monday,etc.,  was mentioned.  VAARA might have come into existence after the arrival of Westerners, along with their Gregorian Calender, into India.
Dependence on PANCHAANGA might be a latter development.
